Hot take: I really don’t mind the way it looks, and I think it’s going to age well. At least better than half the other SUV/crossover designs out there (especially ones with the weird/fake floating C-pillar).

I tripped over a wheel stop in the parking lot while eyeballing it. I had to catch myself with my hands so I didn’t skin a knee. I’m here to tell you it was amazing. It reminded me of an old pickup I saw that worked on the railroads and had the rail wheels on it as well as regular driving wheels. It was so specifically battered that it really stood out. Like every panel had been beaten with something.

We get a ton of those train wheeled trucks but they are always newish and pretty clean.
It almost feels like every part has been weathered to perfection in a movie sequel way. Like the Duel truck. That's it, that's the Duel truck but a classic 4x4 (4x2?).

I get too much of an H2 vibe from these. It’s the guy at the gym with the HGH gut who went waayyyy overboard on the roids. Yeah, he’s still strong, but so much of it is performative.
As HHFP put it, a caricature of an SUV. Which is exactly what they were going for and exactly why they’ll make a bunch of money off of them.

That is amazing. My guess is that the ride with cargo sticking out of the barn doors and can’t tie knots that well or just couldn’t be bothered. Again and again . Once the windows broke they just started sticking ladders/lumber/pipe out of the window holes. It’s perfection.

The mudflaps make it seem particularly dumpy. Having something catch so much light that low and wide calls attention to the fact that the taillight treatment doesn’t really work.
